This role will play a key role in enabling the Finance team to deliver on key objectives through effective support and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and year-end journals, adjustments, and reconciliations.
- Assist in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities to support decision-making process.
- Assist in the preparation of end of year financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Involvement with external auditors to resolve queries.
- Assist with Business Activity Statements and Fringe Benefits Tax preparation for Australia and New Zealand.
- Assist with project and fixed asset reporting and forecasts, including liaising with other Groups to ensure appropriate information is received.
- Assist with Joint Venture accounting.
- Assist with identifying and implementing automation / process improvements to continue to modernise the finance function including proactive use of AI tools.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in finance.

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting) (completed or near completion)
- Willingness to undertake Chartered Accountant (CA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
