Strong Start Swim School is a growing, family-focused swim school in Brookvale. We teach babies through to school-aged children in a warm, indoor pool, with small classes, a structured program, and a genuine focus on helping every child become safer and more confident in the water.

We are looking for energetic, reliable Learn to Swim Instructors who love working with kids and want to be part of a supportive team.

Strong Start Swim School is a growing, family-focused swim school in Brookvale. We teach babies through to school-aged children in a warm, indoor pool, with small classes, a structured program, and a genuine focus on helping every child become safer and more confident in the water.

We are looking for energetic, reliable Learn to Swim Instructors who love working with kids and want to be part of a supportive team.

The role

You will teach small-group learn to swim classes for preschool and school-aged children, helping them develop water confidence, safety awareness and strong swimming skills.

There are also opportunities for the right person to teach:

- Parent and Child classes for babies and toddlers

- Private lessons

- School-aged development or squad classes

- Additional shifts and leadership responsibilities as you grow with us

We currently have shifts available across weekday mornings, after-school afternoons and Saturday mornings. We can work with the right applicant(s) around university, school or other commitments.

What we’re looking for

You will be someone who:





- Enjoys working with children and brings great energy to every lesson

- Is confident communicating with both kids and parents

- Is reliable, organised and takes pride in doing a good job

- Can create a fun but structured learning environment

- Is keen to learn, take feedback and improve as an instructor

- Works well as part of a close-knit team

Previous teaching experience is valued, but we are also happy to hear from enthusiastic applicants who are new to the industry and willing to complete the required qualifications.

Requirements

- AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety, or willingness to obtain

- Current CPR certificate, or willingness to obtain

- Current Working With Children Check

- Right to work in Australia
