Production Pastry Chef / Baker (Casual or Full-Time)

Valentines Bakehouse is looking for an experienced Production Pastry Chef / Baker to join our growing team.

We're a family-owned bakery supplying five retail stores across North East Victoria. We produce a wide range of traditional bakery products in high volumes and are looking for someone who takes pride in quality, consistency and teamwork.

Whether you're looking for full-time employment or casual shifts , we'd love to hear from you. We can offer flexible hours , including day or night shifts , to suit the right applicant.

About the Role

This is a hands‑on production role focused on manufacturing traditional bakery products in commercial quantities, including:

- Cakes and sponge products
- Vanilla Slice and French Vanilla Slice
- Caramel Slice, Hedgehog, Brownies and other slices
- Cheesecakes and custard-based products
- Traditional biscuits and cookies
- Muffins and sweet bakery items
- Family pies, party pies and savoury products

Working from established recipes,



you'll help produce high-quality products while maintaining consistency, efficiency and food safety standards.

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker or Production Baker
- Experience producing traditional bakery cakes, slices and pies
- Experience working in a commercial bakery or food production environment
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced team
- A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic
