Based in Brisbane on a hybrid basis, the University seeks a hands-on AI leader to shape its AI roadmap and build production-ready agentic and generative AI systems, from concept through to deployment. The role reports to the CIO and is visible to the COO and Executive Group as part of a major technology transformation.

You will establish AI capability, govern multi-cloud choices with Azure, AWS and GCP, embed responsible AI, mentor staff, and operate within a 12-month fixed-term contract that
