Project Engineer – Marine & Civil Projects | FIFO Perth

An exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to join a specialist contractor delivering complex marine and civil infrastructure projects across Australia.

This is a fantastic prospect for a Project Engineer with genuine marine construction experience to work on technically challenging projects involving piling, heavy lifting activities, and large-scale infrastructure delivery.

Please note: The client is specifically seeking candidates with a strong marine construction background and does not consider transferable civil experience alone. To be shortlisted, you will ideally have proven experience delivering marine projects involving piling and heavy lifting activities.

What's On Offer

- $120,000 - $160,000 base salary (dependent on experience) + super
- 40% site uplift
- 2 weeks on / 1 week off FIFO roster from Perth
- Opportunity to work on major marine infrastructure projects
- Interstate candidates may be considered with travel arrangements discussed

Key responsibilities





- Manage and coordinate project delivery activities across marine and civil works
- Support construction teams to ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel
- Assist with project planning, programming, cost tracking, and reporting
- Manage quality documentation, inspections, and compliance requirements
- Work closely with Project Managers, site teams, and stakeholders to resolve issues and drive successful project outcomes

What we're looking for

- Strong Project Engineering experience within marine construction environments
- Proven experience working on projects involving piling and heavy lifting activities
- Previous experience with Australian main contractors
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, quality, and project controls
- Ability to work a 2:1 FIFO roster
- Full Australian working rights (sponsorship is not available)
- Interstate candidates may be required depending on project requirements
