About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Retail Manager to join our team at our Rhodes, NSW location. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to lead and manage our retail pharmacy operations. As Pharmacy Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the pharmacy, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, and leading a dedicated team. This role is critical to the success of our retail operations and directly impacts the quality of care we provide to our patients.

Key responsibilities

- Manage all aspects of daily retail pharmacy operations, including stock management, ordering, and inventory control
- Supervise and mentor pharmacy staff, providing guidance, training, and performance management
- Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy legislation, regulations, and professional standards
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with patients and healthcare professionals
- Manage the pharmacy budget, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities for cost efficiency
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally and promptly




- Implement and monitor quality assurance procedures and health and safety protocols
- Contribute to the development and achievement of pharmacy business objectives and targets

What we're looking for

- Proven experience in pharmacy retail management or a similar leadership role within a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations, pharmaceutical products, stock ordering and inventory management
- Excellent leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Outstanding customer service expertise and the ability to build positive relationships with patients and colleagues
- Sound understanding of pharmaceutical legislation, regulations, and professional standards in Australia
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Proficiency with pharmacy management systems and retail point-of-sale software
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to challenges
- Experience in budget management and financial planning is advantageous
