We are currently seeking a passionate and experienced Clinical Lead to join our clinical leadership team. Reporting to the Care Manager, this role is ideal for someone who values high-quality care, enjoys supporting others to grow and thrives in a collaborative, resident-focused environment.

About the Role:

As Clinical Lead, you will be a visible clinical leader who supports best practice across the facility. Working alongside the Care Manager, you will mentor staff, strengthen clinical governance, coordinate education programs and drive continuous quality improvement to ensure residents receive exceptional care.

You will provide hands-on clinical leadership across the organisation by supporting resident care coordination, mentoring staff, promoting evidence-based practice and contributing to accreditation, compliance and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the delivery of safe, high-quality clinical care, ensuring compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards and all relevant regulatory requirements

Oversee care planning, admissions, clinical reviews and responses to changes in residents’ conditions

Monitor resident health changes, escalate concerns promptly,



and implement strategies to minimise risks such as falls and infections.

Facilitate effective communication processes such as shift handovers, clinical huddles, and team meetings.

Promote and implement evidence-based practice to improve resident outcomes.

Drive and support continuous improvement, audit readiness and clinical excellence

Foster a values-led, high-performing culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous learning

Lead staff education, onboarding and competency development.

Assist with multidisciplinary case conferencing, hospital transfers and clinical decision-making.

Contribute to policy development and quality improvement initiatives.

Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse with a minimum of four years' post-registration experience.

Solid knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Aged Care Quality Standards, AN-ACC funding model and contemporary clinical governance principles

Ability to lead change, manage risk and improve outcomes

Strong clinical assessment, documentation and care planning skills

Demonstrated commitment to quality, compliance and continuous improvement

Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills

Current Police Check (or ability to obtain).





Demonstrated experience leading clinical teams in residential aged care

IPC Lead qualification or willingness to obtain

Experience with Leecare, BestMed or similar clinical software.
