About the Role

As a future Ninja Team Leader , your primary focus will be leading, mentoring and supporting our Occupational Therapy team to deliver exceptional, client centred care. You will play a key role in developing clinicians, providing clinical guidance, supporting complex cases, and helping shape the ongoing growth and direction of our Occupational Therapy service. You will also be responsible for supporting the performance and success of the Occupational Therapy team by ensuring key performance indicators are achieved, conducting regular performance and development reviews, setting goals with team members, and proactively addressing performance, wellbeing and professional development needs. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will maintain a reduced clinical caseload that is tailored to your interests, whether that is paediatrics, adults, or a particular area of practice. Your clinical caseload is very reasonable and dependent on who is on your team, their level of experience and the type of support they need which is decided in consultation with you, it is our primary motivation to ensure you have the capacity to support your team to the best of your abilities.

As part of the Ninja Leadership Team, you will work alongside our Clinical Service Lead, Practice Operations Manager and be supported by the Founders of Ninja Allied Health. You will have the opportunity to contribute to strategic decision making, service development and innovation,



while helping shape the future direction of the organisation.

You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists and other allied health professionals to deliver integrated, evidence based care, while contributing to service development, quality improvement and the continued growth of our organisation. We offer flexible hours and days, and you will have input into your schedule, leadership responsibilities and clinical caseload to support work life balance.

You will have dedicated time to mentor clinicians, provide clinical supervision and guidance, participate in leadership meetings, contribute to service innovation, and help build a positive, collaborative and high performing team culture.

We also offer lower billable hours than the industry standard because we believe great leaders need the time and capacity to coach, support and develop their teams, drive innovation, and continuously improve the quality of care we provide.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

- Providing day to day leadership, mentorship and clinical supervision to Occupational Therapists.
- Responsible for supporting the performance and success of the Occupational Therapy team by ensuring key performance indicators are achieved, conducting regular performance and development reviews, setting goals with team members, and proactively addressing performance, wellbeing and career development needs.
- Supporting clinicians with clinical reasoning, complex cases and professional development.
- Assisting with onboarding, training and supporting the growth of the Occupational Therapy team.
- Delivering high-quality, client-centred Therapy services
- Contributing to service development, quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide integrated care
- Participating in case discussions, service planning, and client goal setting
- Maintain accurate records and reports aligned to funding body requirements and clinical standards.
- Contributing to a positive , innovative, and collaborative workplace culture

About You

We are looking for someone who is passionate about multidisciplinary allied health and would love to be part of a fun and supportive team.

Skills and Experience:

- Registered Occupational Therapist (AHPRA registration) or Speech Pathology Australia Registration




- Current or readiness to obtain relevant checks (NDIS Worker Screening, Working with Children, Police Clearance)
- Valid driver’s licence and personal vehicle
- Exceptional communication, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- A team-oriented individual with honesty, integrity, and a positive outlook
- Ideal: prior experience as a team leader, supervision of students, informal mentorship. Salary range is reflective of experience both clinically and in a leadership role.
