About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Specialist to join our Projects team and play a pivotal role in delivering strategic business and technology initiatives across the organisation.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, vendors, and project owners to coordinate and support the successful delivery of multiple projects. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in IT project delivery,



business analysis, and financial services who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the end-to-end delivery of business and technology projects from initiation through to implementation.
- Assist the Project Manager with project planning, scheduling, governance, reporting, and portfolio administration.
- Coordinate project activities, monitor milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and budgets.
- Work with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings to drive project outcomes and informed decision-making.
- Prepare business cases, project documentation, status reports, meeting minutes, and executive updates.
- Maintain project governance artefacts, including RAID logs, financial tracking, project schedules, and benefits registers.
- Support project managers and business owners in maintaining project plans and governance documentation using JIRA and other project management tools.
- Identify opportunities to improve project delivery processes, templates, and governance standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional business and IT teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

About You

You are a proactive and organised project professional who enjoys solving business problems and delivering technology-enabled change. You possess robust analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management capabilities, and can confidently work across both business and technical teams.

Essential Experience

- Demonstrated experience supporting or delivering complex IT and business transformation projects.




- Strong IT delivery experience across multiple project lifecycles.
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Project Officer, Project Coordinator, or Project Management Officer.
- Experience working within Financial Services, Banking, Asset Finance, Lending, or a similarly regulated industry.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills with the ability to influence across all organisational levels.
- Experience managing project governance, risks, budgets, reporting, and documentation.
- Experience using JIRA and Microsoft Project or similar project management tools.

Qualifications

- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Business, Information Technology, Business Analysis, or a related discipline.
- Project Management certification (PRINCE2, Agile, PMP or equivalent) is desirable.
- Business Analysis certification or demonstrated Business Analyst experience will be highly regarded.
