PEAK Training is a not-for-profit Registered Training Organisation (RTO Code 90869) and the training and education arm of the NSW Family Day Care Association.

Accredited by the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA), we operate under the 2025 Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs).We specialise in delivering nationally recognised Early Childhood Educational and Care (ECEC) qualifications and high-quality professional development for Educators, Teachers, and Service Leaders across all service type.

Our evidence-informed training supports the ongoing uplift of the early childhood sector by empowering educators to implement current best practice. Through our programs, we build professional knowledge, confidence, and capability across the ECEC workforce.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to provide strategic, operational and compliance leadership for PEAK Training. This position is responsible for ensuring the organisation achieves its strategic objectives while maintaining full compliance with the 2025 ASQA Standards for RTOs and all relevant legislative and contractual obligations, while delivering high-quality education and training outcomes.

The role leads the planning, implementation, monitoring and continuous improvement of accredited and non-accredited training programs, quality systems, operational processes and organisational performance. The Manager also provides leadership to staff, fosters a culture of quality and continuous improvement, manages organisational risk and represents PEAK Training across the vocational education and early childhood sectors.

Key responsibilities:

Lead the day-to-day operations of PEAK Training, ensuring the effective delivery of accredited and non-accredited training programs.

Provide leadership, coaching and support to staff, fostering a collaborative,



high-performing and quality-focused culture.

Lead people and culture functions, including recruitment, induction, performance management, professional development, staff engagement, retention and succession planning.

Ensure ongoing compliance with the 2025 Standards for RTOs, ASQA requirements, relevant legislation, funding contracts and organisational policies.

Lead quality assurance, continuous improvement and organisational risk management, including preparation for regulatory and funding audits.

Oversee the design, implementation and evaluation of training programs to ensure quality learner outcomes and industry relevance.

Develop, implement and review operational systems, policies and procedures to support efficient and compliant service delivery.

Monitor organisational performance, budgets and key performance indicators, providing regular reports to the CEO and Board.

Build and maintain effective relationships with government agencies, industry partners and key stakeholders.

Identify opportunities for innovation, business development and service improvement.

Applicants must demonstrate:

Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent qualification that meets current RTO requirements).

Qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care or a relevant qualification.

Minimum three years' leadership or management experience within a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) or comparable education environment.

Demonstrated knowledge of the 2025 Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs),



ASQA regulatory requirements and vocational education legislation.

Experience leading compliance, quality assurance, continuous improvement and regulatory or funding audit processes.

Strong understanding of Training and Assessment Strategies, assessment systems and quality assurance practices.

Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage timelines, budgets and achieve key performance indicators.

Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build collaborative, high-performing teams.

Highly developed analytical, problem-solving and organisational skills, with the ability to identify creative solutions to complex issues.

Excellent written, verbal and presentation communication skills, including report writing and stakeholder engagement.

Demonstrated professionalism, accountability, integrity, confidentiality and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service.

Extensive knowledge of the Early Childhood Education and Care sector

Family Day Care knowledge

Knowledge of Smart and Skilled funding requirements

Experience working with Government Agencies

Experience using Student Management Systems and online learning platforms

Knowledge of the not-for-profit sector
