The Water Services Operations Engineer will coordinate the efficient delivery, operation, maintenance and construction activities of the Water Services Section, in accordance with statutory requirements and Council’s Management Plans, Policies and Procedures, to ensuring infrastructure and service delivery will provide public value for the community.

Key Accountabilities

- Provide high-level support and recommendations to the Manager Water Services.
- Lead and maximise the performance of water services operational staff within Narrabri Shire to provide an effective and productive service to the ratepayer.
- Prepare quotes and assessments for water and/or sewer network connections, disconnections and maintenance.

Qualifications

- Degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical or Environmental) with 2 years of experience or Diploma level qualifications with up to 4 years of experience.
