At TeamKids, we are a team of passionate educators dedicated to enriching children's lives. Owned and run by teachers, we provide Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) across Australia, aiming to excite, engage, and entertain children before, during, and after school.

Job Description

This permanent, part‑time position offers hands-on experience in the OSHC industry. You will be supported by a Director of Service, ensuring you have everything you need to thrive in your role.

Service Location

Ambarvale, NSW 2560

Schedule

- BSC: 6:30–8:45 am
- ASC: 2:30–6:00 pm
- 28.75 hours per week, split shifts, Monday to Friday

The Role – Ready to Grow Your Leadership?

As the Second in Charge (2IC) you will be a key leader in delivering high‑quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.

- Engage with the school community, attending events and assemblies.
- Assist with the creation and implementation of enriching experiences based on the preferences of the children in your program.
- Foster genuine relationships with children and their families.
- Play and have fun with primary school‑aged children.
- Support program compliance with industry regulations.

The Successful Candidate

- Previous experience in Before and After School Care or education is preferred, but not essential – training will be provided.
- Thrives in a fast‑paced environment and maintains a positive, child‑friendly attitude.




- Communicates confidently with children, parents, team members, and school principals.
- Strong team player with excellent problem‑solving skills and a can‑do attitude.
- Passionate about creating enriching experiences for primary‑aged children.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and loves to have fun.
- All successful candidates must complete mandatory National Child Safety Training through Geccko prior to commencing employment.
