Clinic Manager

About the Role

Step into a leadership role that makes a real difference. As Clinic Manager at Rumbalara Medical Clinic, you’ll lead the daily operations of a vibrant, community-focused health service dedicated to delivering culturally safe, high-quality care for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. This role isn’t just about managing a clinic—it’s about empowering teams, strengthening partnerships, and improving community health outcomes. You’ll collaborate with passionate health professionals, support staff, and external stakeholders to ensure the clinic runs efficiently and continues to be a trusted space for our mob to receive the care they deserve.

About You

You're a strong,



culturally grounded leader who thrives in dynamic environments. You bring clinical or management expertise and are passionate about delivering meaningful outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

To succeed in this role, you’ll bring:

A Certificate IV or Diploma in Leadership and Management or Practice Management

A professional background as a Registered Nurse (RN), Allied Health Professional, Aboriginal Health Practitioner, or similar

Experience managing a clinic—ideally within an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation (ACCHO)

In-depth knowledge of the local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community and the social determinants of health

The ability to lead with cultural sensitivity, maintain confidentiality, and prioritise tasks under pressure

Strong decision-making skills, team leadership experience, and the confidence to guide RACGP accreditation processes

What We Offer:

Competitive pay and conditions based on the ACCHS Award Administrative Grade 7 (negotiable based on qualifications and experience).

Salary packaging of $15,900 available for Part- or Full-time employees.

The successful applicant must hold relevant professional registration (where applicable), a current Victorian Driver Licence, and satisfactorily complete a National Police Check and Employee Working with Children Check
