As our team continues to grow, we have an opportunity for an additional Assistant Manager to join our housekeeping team!

The Role

Reporting to the Housekeeping Manager, you will be part of our key housekeeping leadership team, delivering the exceptional presentation and cleanliness standards our guests expect from one of Sydney's most iconic luxury hotels.

Your Day to Day - Inspire Incredible





As part of our Assistant Manager - Housekeeping team, you will:

- Support the Housekeeping Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the Housekeeping department, ensuring exceptional presentation standards across guest rooms and public areas.

- Lead, coach and develop our internal Housekeeping Supervisors, Room Attendants

- Work closely with our external housekeeping partner to ensure we are delivering on IHG Way of Clean standards

- Conduct room inspections and quality audits, providing coaching and feedback to maintain the exceptional standards of the InterContinental brand.

- Partner closely with Front Office, Engineering and other operational departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.

- Manage guest requests and resolve concerns with professionalism, care and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.

- Champion workplace health and safety, ensuring safe work practices and compliance across the department.

What You Will Bring

You will also have:

- Previous leadership experience within a luxury or premium hotel housekeeping workplace.

- A genuine passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and the highest standards of housekeeping excellence





- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

- A collaborative, hands-on leadership style with exceptional attention to detail.

- Sound knowledge of workplace health and safety practices.

- Flexibility to work across a seven-day rotating roster.
