The Opportunity

We’re seeking a hands-on Workshop Manager to lead our Dubbo workshop. This is a great opportunity to utilise your leadership skills and technical expertise within the heavy vehicle industry.

In this role, you’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop and take ownership of the fleet under your control—ensuring all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards and in line with company policies, legislation, and manufacturer guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support your team, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Coordinate rosters, training, and performance management in collaboration with HR and senior leadership
- Oversee workshop administration and financial performance
- Monitor performance and drive results against KPI targets




- Conduct quality checks and manage routine servicing requirements
- Manage tools, parts, and consumables inventory

About You

- Certificate III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent)
- NSW Trade Licence
- Robust diagnostic and repair skills
- Self-motivated with a solutions-focused mindset
- Minimum Class C Licence (HR Licence, or willingness to obtain)

Previous leadership experience within the heavy vehicle, truck, or diesel industry is highly regarded. Experience in the waste industry is a bonus but not essential.
