Business Analyst | NSW Government | Parramatta | Contract to Dec 2026

Ampersand International is partnering with a NSW Government agency to source a Business Analyst for an initial contract through to 31 December 2026, based in Parramatta.

About the role

You’ll review, analyse and evaluate business systems and user needs, documenting requirements and defining scope and objectives to align systems with broader business strategy. This role suits someone comfortable working autonomously, using judgement and experience to plan and deliver outcomes, and who may also lead or direct elements of the work of others.

About you

- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4-6 years' experience in business/systems analysis or a related area
- Solid understanding of relational database and client-server concepts
- Strong requirements documentation and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to manage complex, diverse tasks with minimal oversight

The details

- Location: Parramatta, NSW
- Rate: $61.84 - $125.70 p/h + super
- Contract: ASAP start through to 31/12/2026
- Rate: Competitive, dependent on experience
