Cool Line Air Con Pty Ltd is a Melbourne-based air conditioning and refrigeration company specialising in the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems. We are committed to delivering high-quality workmanship, reliable service and professional customer support.
Due to continued business growth, we are seeking a motivated and skilled Airconditioning and Refrigeration Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, service and repair residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs using appropriate testing equipment and industry-standard procedures.
- Install refrigeration pipework, associated electrical controls and system components.
- Test, commission and ensure air conditioning and refrigeration systems are operating safely and efficiently.
- Carry out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing of air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications and manufacturer manuals.
- Complete service reports and maintain accurate job documentation.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and relevant Australian standards.
- Provide professional customer service while working independently and as part of a team.
About You
- A relevant trade qualification in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or an equivalent overseas qualification.
- A minimum of two years' relevant experience in the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of residential and commercial air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Sound knowledge of HVAC systems, refrigeration principles and protected work practices.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to work independently and manage workloads efficiently.
- A current Australian driver's licence or the ability to obtain one.
