Traffic Controllers & Construction Labourers – Rockhampton

Traffic Controllers & TMI's with current QLD licensing may be eligible for an immediate start

WorkCon is recruiting reliable Traffic Controllers and general or skilled construction labourers for upcoming and ongoing work across Rockhampton and Central Queensland.

We are looking for site-ready workers with traffic control, commercial construction, civil, trade assistance or ticketed labouring experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Depending on your role and the site, duties may include:
- STOP/SLOW traffic control and monitoring traffic queues
- Authorised traffic control sign and device set-up
- General or skilled construction labouring
- Assisting trades, supervisors and site crews
- Using hand and power tools within your competency




- Operating plant or completing high-risk work where properly licensed
- Following TGS, SWMS, inductions and site instructions

What You Need

- Current White Card
- Current Queensland TMR Traffic Controller accreditation for traffic control roles
- Previous traffic control, construction, civil or labouring experience
- Driver’s licence and reliable transport
- Appropriate PPE
- Reliable attendance and a robust safety focus
- Current evidence of all licences and tickets
- TMI, EWP, Forklift, Hoist, Dogging, Rigging, Working at Heights and plant tickets will be highly regarded.
