MOTION is a leading supplier of industrial and engineering products, supporting customers across mining, transport, defence, manufacturing, civil infrastructure and the trades.

Through MOTION ENGINEERING & SERVICES, we also provide end-to-end maintenance, refurbishment, repair and overhaul services that help extend the life of critical industrial equipment and machinery.

About the role

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the assembly, repair, balancing and servicing of driveline components, helping to deliver high-quality solutions to our customers in the Industrial, Mining & Automotive industries.

What your day to day will look like:

- Assemble, repair and service driveshafts and related driveline components
- Diagnose faults and identify appropriate repair solutions
- Operate workshop equipment and tools safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area
- Complete work accurately and in line with quality requirements
- Provide professional service to customers and support the wider team

What we are looking for:

- Well-developed fitting andmachiningskillsobtained in a workshop environment.
- Have a soundmechanical aptitudea nd knowledge.
- Experience operating manual lathes and welding equipment isessential.
- Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with job tasks.
- Proven safety and quality focus&perform; assigned duties in a safe and responsible mannerin accordance withCompany's Health & Safety policies & procedures.
- A willingness to work as part of a team, and do whatever isrequired, to help achieve business targets.
- A trade qualification preferred but not mandatory.
