ACIL Allen, Australia’s most trusted independent economics, public policy and strategy advisory firm, is seeking driven, ambitious and enthusiastic recent graduates or early-career analysts to join its economics practice in the Sydney office. At ACIL Allen, you will be given ownership of client problems, challenges and opportunities, and the tools and guidance to help find solutions. As an Analyst , you will work across the full breadth of ACIL Allen’s advisory portfolio, including:

developing methodologies and proposals

collecting, analysing and interpreting information

supporting client relationships and overseeing project delivery

contributing to thought leadership in economics and public policy

conducting research, writing reports, and engaging with stakeholders.

At ACIL Allen, analysts are involved in the full lifecycle of client engagement, from scoping work and developing methodologies through to presenting final reports and advice. From day one, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your advisory capabilities by applying your skills and background to complex, challenging and high-profile engagements.

About you

To be considered for this position, you must:

be a passionate economist or quantitative graduate with a passion for delivering high-quality public policy advice to government and industry

be motivated to contribute to the growth and success of our Sydney economics practice, supporting senior colleagues and leading by example

possess strong analytical capabilities, with the ability to work with economic, financial or other data to generate unique and actionable insights

have the capability to communicate insights clearly, both in written reports and in dialogue with current and prospective clients and stakeholders

thrive working both independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team

have the ability to learn across different industry sectors and parts of our advisory practice.





About your qualifications and skills

Tertiary qualification in aquantitative or economics-based discipline (such as Mathematics, Economics/Econometrics, Statistics, or Finance) with an internship or some work experience viewed favourably.

Advanced proficiency inMicrosoft Excel , with expertise in other analytical tools, is desirable.
