Perform MIG welding and fabrication of reinforcing steel cages and components.

Read and interpret fabrication drawings, plans, and job specifications.

Set up and operate welding equipment safely and efficiently.

Measure, cut, position, and assemble steel components prior to welding.

Ensure welds meet quality requirements and Australian Standards.

Conduct visual inspections of completed welds and identify any defects or issues.

Follow workplace health and safety procedures, including safe handling of materials and equipment.

Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Complete production records and follow company quality procedures.

Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to meet production schedules.

Skills and Experience

Demonstrated experience as a Welder,



Welder Fabricator or in a similar fabrication and welding role.

Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabrication plans.

Experience with MIG, and other manual or semi-automatic welding processes.

Robust knowledge of fabrication techniques, measuring equipment and workshop machinery.
