Our client is seeking a Small Animal Emergency Veterinarian to join a supportive and experienced emergency team in Moonah, Hobart.
This permanent part‐time opportunity is ideal for a veterinarian with ECC experience, or a strong interest in emergency and critical care, who wants to grow within a well‐equipped hospital environment while maintaining work‐life harmony.

Responsibilities
Managing emergency and critical care presentations across small animal patients
Assessing, stabilising, and treating a wide range of urgent and time‐sensitive cases
Working closely with veterinarians, nurses, and client care teams to deliver smooth patient care




Communicating clearly and compassionately with clients during stressful situations
Contributing to a collaborative, positive, and patient‐first emergency hospital culture
Qualifications Needed
Bachelor of Veterinary Medicine or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
Current or eligible registration with the Veterinary Surgeons Board in Australia
Ideally three or more years post‐graduation experience
One to two years of ECC experience preferred, though all suitable applicants considered
Strong communication, client management, teamwork, and emergency case‐handling skills
