Maintenance Fitter / Facilities Technician - Food Manufacturing Site
We are seeking aMaintenance Fitterto join the team at a well-established global food manufacturing organisation inClayton.
This is a hands‐on role responsible for operating and monitoring the site's Trade Waste Treatment Plant while ensuring environmental compliance and the reliable operation of site utilities and infrastructure.
The position will also support the maintenance of site facilities, plant and equipment across the manufacturing operation, carrying out preventative maintenance and responding to breakdowns to ensure production runs safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor the Trade Waste Treatment Plant
Conduct daily testing, monitoring and compliance checks
Oversee and support site utilities, including boilers, compressors, chillers and HVAC




Coordinate contractors and oversee protected work practices
Assist with manufacturing maintenance and breakdown response
About You
Trade qualification (Mechanical / Maintenance Fitter, highly regarded)
Experience in wastewater, utilities, facilities and/or manufacturing maintenance
Exposure to HVAC, boilers, compressors or industrial plant
Experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance within food, beverage or process manufacturing is highly regarded
The Chance
Permanent full‐time role
$52 - $55 per hour + Super + Overtime
