Due to the departure of a long‐standing senior team member, we are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our Business Services & Tax team.

This is an in‐office role, with systems and processes in place to allow seamless working from home when required.

The Role – What You'll Be Doing

As a Senior Accountant in our Business Services & Tax team, you will:

- Manage a portfolio of business and individual clients
- Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns
- Apply and advise on Division 7A, Capital Gains Tax (CGT) and Fringe Perks Tax (FBT)
- Handle client queries directly and confidently
- Review and finalise work prepared by others in consultation with the Partner
- Maintain a strong client‐first mindset with a practical, commercial approach

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Minimum 4+ years' current experience in Taxation & Business Services within a Public Practice environment
- Strong experience managing client work end‐to‐end
- Solid technical knowledge across business services and taxation
- Confidence dealing directly with clients
- A calm, organised and solutions‐focused approach
- High attention to detail and pride in your work
- Australian work rights are required for this position
- CA/CPA/IPA qualification is required

Systems & Software





Experience with the following systems will be highly regarded:

- Advanced level Xero experience is required
- Minimum 2-3 years of advanced level Xero experience is required
- Xero Practice Manager (XPM)
- FYI Docs
- Now Infinity
- BGL
- MYOB and Quick Books
- Microsoft Office
