We are looking for a highly motivated and experiencedProcurement Manager to lead the successful delivery ofutility-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects based in Australia.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process for utility-scale Solar PV and BESS EPC projects.
- Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with project schedules, budgets, and company objectives.
- Manage the procurement of major electrical, mechanical, civil, and balance-of-plant equipment, including:
- PV Modules
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
- Medium Voltage & High Voltage equipment
- Transformers
- Switchgear
- SCADA & Communication Systems
- Mounting Structures
- Cables
- Civil and Mechanical materials
- Prepare RFQs, tender documentation, commercial evaluations, bid comparison reports, and procurement recommendations.
- Lead technical and commercial negotiations with international suppliers and subcontractors.
- Build and maintain strategic relationships with global manufacturers and key suppliers.
- Evaluate supplier capabilities, manufacturing capacity, pricing, delivery performance,



quality standards, and financial stability.
- Coordinate closely with Engineering, Project Management, Construction, Logistics, Quality, and Finance teams throughout the procurement lifecycle.
- Monitor supplier manufacturing schedules, inspections, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), shipping, customs, and on-time delivery.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with project specifications, contractual obligations, budgets, and company procurement procedures.
- Identify procurement risks, supply chain constraints, and market opportunities while implementing mitigation strategies.
- Support project budgeting, forecasting, cost optimization, and value engineering initiatives.
- Manage procurement documentation, purchase orders, supplier correspondence, claims, variations, and procurement reporting.
- Ensure timely resolution of supplier non-conformities, warranty issues, and commercial disputes.
- Monitor procurement KPIs and continuously improve procurement processes and supplier performance.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree inElectrical Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering , or a related Engineering discipline.
- Minimum8 years of procurement experience , including at least5 years in utility-scale Solar PV and/or Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) EPC projects.




- Proven experience procuring major Solar PV and BESS equipment for international EPC projects.
- Strong knowledge of EPC procurement processes, contract administration, Incoterms, logistics, and international sourcing.
- Experience with FIDIC contracts and international commercial terms is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of technical specifications, vendor documentation, and supplier qualification processes.
- Demonstrated experience managing supplier negotiations and achieving cost optimization while maintaining quality and delivery targets.
- Experience working with international suppliers across Europe, China, and other global markets.
- Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent planning, reporting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Fluent English is required; additional languages are considered an asset.
- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
