Working on strategically significant capability programs, you will provide commercial, procurement and contract management expertise that supports the delivery of complex and innovative projects.

Your new role

As a Commercial Specialist, you will play a key role in developing procurement strategies, leading commercial activities and managing complex contracting arrangements. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and industry partners to ensure procurement outcomes are delivered effectively, compliantly and commercially.

Key responsibilities include

- Developing and implementing fit-for-purpose procurement and sourcing strategies
- Advising on commercial and contracting models to achieve value for money and operational flexibility
- Supporting market engagement activities, including RFIs, RFTs and industry briefings
- Preparing tender documentation, evaluation criteria and contractual documentation




- Providing commercial risk management and procurement compliance advice
- Supporting contract negotiations and ongoing contract management activities
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across technical, operational and commercial teams

What you'll need to succeed

- Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting
- Strong experience across procurement, commercial and contract management functions
- Sound knowledge of the ASDEFCON contract suite
- Experience developing and managing complex contractual arrangements
- Strong negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to engage effectively with a broad range of stakeholders
- Current NV1 Security Clearance
