Role Description The Academic Research Assistant at ExifInjector.com is a full time, on-site role based in Agadir. The role involves supporting research projects that use image metadata and related datasets, including collecting, organizing, and documenting data according to established protocols.

The Academic Research

Assistant will review literature, summarize findings, and prepare research notes, reports, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating with researchers, maintaining accurate records, performing basic data analysis, and ensuring research materials and tools are up to date. The position also includes assisting with project planning, tracking timelines and milestones, and contributing to the continuous improvement of research processes and documentation standards.

Qualifications

- Strong research and analytical abilities, including experience with literature review, data collection, and documentation of findings.
- Solid academic writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear,



well-structured reports, summaries, and presentations.
- Basic familiarity with digital imaging or metadata concepts and an interest in learning tools and methods used in image-based research.
- Proficiency with common productivity and data tools (e.g., word processing, spreadsheets, reference managers), and the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a collaborative environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work respectfully and constructively with colleagues from diverse academic and technical backgrounds.
- Relevant academic background in fields such as information science, computer science, data science, social sciences, or a related discipline.
- Prior experience in academic or applied research, internships, or project-based work is an advantage but not strictly required.
