We are partnering with an established transport and logistics organisation to appoint an experienced Accountant to join their team based at their Laverton North facility.

This is an exciting prospect for an accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational environment and wants to play a key role supporting the financial performance of a growing business.

About The Role Reporting to the Finance Manager, the Accountant will be responsible for supporting all facets of the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and effective financial control across the business.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will provide day-to-day accounting support across accounts, reporting, reconciliations, and process improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day accounting functions including accounts payable and receivable
- Complete bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Assist with month-end and year-end accounting processes
- Process invoices, payments, and financial transactions accurately
- Monitor costs, expenses, and operational financial performance
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements




- Maintain accurate financial records and support audit processes
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiencies
- Provide support to operational teams across the transport and logistics business

About You To be successful, you will have:

- Relevant accounting qualification or equivalent experience
- Previous experience in an accounting role within a commercial environment
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
- Experience within transport, logistics, or supply chain environments highly regarded
