We have an incredible opportunity for an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our accounts team based at our Fremantle office. Reporting to the Accounts Supervisor, this role will process accounts receivable and accounts payable transactions within a large operational business.

The Accounts Officer is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to support the day-to-day financial operations of the business. The role ensures supplier payments, customer invoicing, cash receipting, reconciliations and financial records are maintained in accordance with company policies, accounting standards and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process supplier invoices through Esker and Adept accurately and within agreed timeframes.
- Verify invoices are appropriately authorised and coded.
- Prepare and process supplier payment runs through Adept and online banking platforms.




- Maintain supplier and customer master data.
- Respond to supplier enquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Monitor debtor balances and follow up outstanding accounts when necessary.
- Perform daily bank receipting and allocation of funds.
- Complete regular bank reconciliations and investigate reconciling items.
- Assist in maintaining accurate cash records.
- Prepare routine reports relating to accounts payable, accounts receivable and cash movements.
- Assist with month-end processing and reconciliations as required.
- Ensure financial transactions are accurately recorded within accounting systems.

About you:

- Minimum 2–3 years' experience in an Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable or Accounts Officer role desirable.
- Demonstrated experience with customer invoicing, bank receipting, collections, supplier invoice processing and payment processing.
- Experience performing bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Experience using accounting systems and invoice workflow systems such as Infor/Esker desirable.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
- Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.




- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team. High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (Desirable).
