Hays is partnering with a well-established and industry-leading organisation seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their finance team based in Welshpool. Your new role
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the accounts receivable function and play a key role in maintaining strong cash flow and customer relationships.
Your responsibilities will include
- Processing and allocating daily customer payments
- Performing daily banking and account reconciliations
- Sending customer statements and payment reminders
- Managing overdue accounts and following up outstanding invoices
- Investigating and resolving payment and billing discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate customer account records
- Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
- Supporting audit and compliance requirements as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an Accounts Receivable position
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or a related qualification will be highly regarded
