GJ MCCORMACK FAMILY TRUST & M.J MCCORMACK & T.G MCCORMACK The successful applicant will be responsible for operating and maintaining agricultural and horticultural mobile plant and machinery to support crop production, harvesting and general farm operations. This is a hands-on role requiring practical experience operating agricultural machinery, strong mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Task & responsibilities Key Responsibilities The duties of the position will include, but are not limited to: Operating agricultural and horticultural mobile plant including tractors, harvesters, loaders, sprayers and other specialised farming equipment.

Operating machinery for planting, cultivation, fertilising, spraying and harvesting activities. Preparing agricultural land for planting and crop production. Monitoring crop harvesting operations and ensuring machinery is operated efficiently.

Loading, transporting and handling agricultural products and materials. Conducting routine inspections, cleaning, servicing and basic maintenance of machinery. Identifying mechanical faults and reporting maintenance requirements.

Adjusting and calibrating machinery to suit different crops, soil conditions and operational requirements. Maintaining accurate records of machinery operation and maintenance activities.



Following workplace health and safety procedures and environmental requirements.

Assisting with general farm duties as required. Working collaboratively with farm management and other agricultural workers. Qualification & experience Skills and Experience Required The successful applicant will ideally have: Demonstrated experience operating agricultural and horticultural mobile plant and machinery. Experience working in a commercial farming or horticultural environment. Ability to safely operate tractors, harvesters and other agricultural equipment.

Strong understanding of agricultural machinery operation and maintenance. Ability to identify and report mechanical issues. Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications and Licences Applicants with the following will be highly regarded: Relevant agricultural machinery operating experience. Machinery operation tickets or relevant training. Driver’s licence appropriate for the role.
