About the Role

As a Freight Coordinator, you'll play an important role in keeping international and domestic freight moving safely, efficiently and on time.

Every day is different. You'll work within a dynamic airport environment, handling cargo, coordinating freight movements and contributing to critical logistics operations that connect businesses and communities across the globe.

Your Key Responsibilities

- Safely screen, load and unload cargo
- Operate forklifts and airside vehicles
- Coordinate cargo movements throughout the terminal
- Complete operational documentation and system updates
- Maintain accurate records and compliance standards
- Follow all workplace health, safety and aviation security requirements
- Work collaboratively with a high-performing operations team




- Assist with general warehouse housekeeping and equipment checks

Working Hours AIRWAY operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Following your training period, you will work across a rotating roster. Shift start times may be as early as 4:00am.

- The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including manual handling
- Previous warehouse, logistics, freight or aviation experience (advantageous but not essential)

Licences & Requirements

- Current Australian Driver Licence with own reliable transport
- Current LF Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC
- Successful completion of a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screen, and police check
