Maleny Golf Club – Sunshine Coast Hinterland

Maleny Golf Club is seeking a motivated individual to join our course maintenance team as an Apprentice Sports Turf Manager.

This role provides the opportunity to complete a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management while gaining hands-on experience maintaining a high-quality golf course.

Key Responsibilities

- Golf course maintenance including greens, tees, fairways and rough
- Operation of turf machinery and mowing equipment
- Bunker maintenance and course preparation for play
- Irrigation operation and watering
- Pest, weed and turf health management (under supervision)
- Assisting with general course improvement works

About You

- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Enjoy working outdoors




- Willing to learn and develop current skills
- Able to work as part of a team
- Must have reliable transport and/or hold a current driver’s licence

Previous experience in turf, horticulture or landscaping is desirable but not essential.

This role forms part of a structured apprenticeship program (up to 3 years) leading to a Certificate III qualification in Sports Turf Management.
