APS5 Research Officer

Location: ACT

Duration: 3 months

Hourly rate: 56-62 per hour

Our federal government client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Language Research Officer to support the maintenance and enhancement of a languages database.

Key Responsibilities

- Research and update language records using a range of sources.
- Analyse and verify linguistic and cultural information for database inclusion.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with established standards.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure quality and consistency of information.

Desired Skills and Experience

- Qualification in Linguistics or a qualification in Anthropology or a related discipline with demonstrated relevant experience.
- Solid research and analytical skills, demonstrated through academic research projects, thesis work, or equivalent experience.




- Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
