About the role

We are seeking a Assistant Commercial Property Manager to join McGrath Beenleigh on a full-time basis in Beenleigh, QLD. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your career in commercial property management within a dynamic real estate environment. You will provide essential support to our Commercial Property Manager, assisting with the day-to-day operations of commercial properties and contributing to the effective management of our portfolio.

This role is fundamental to ensuring our clients receive exceptional service and that our properties are maintained to the highest standards.

What you'll be doing

- Assisting with tenant communication and responding to routine inquiries and maintenance requests
- Supporting lease administration activities, including documentation and record-keeping
- Coordinating maintenance and repairs with contractors and service providers
- Preparing property reports and maintaining accurate property files and databases
- Assisting with rent collection follow-up and accounting support
- Supporting the Property Manager with general administrative tasks and special projects
- Maintaining compliance with property management regulations and procedures
- Contributing to the overall efficiency and organisation of the commercial property management function

What we're looking for

- Previous experience in property management, real estate, or a similar administrative role is highly preferred. Tertiary qualifications in business, property management, real estate, or a related field will also be highly regarded.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, take initiative, and complete tasks efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to professionally liaise with tenants, landlords, and contractors.




- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and property management software.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads, and manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong customer service skills with a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
- Knowledge of commercial property terminology and practices would be an advantage.
- Reliable vehicle and current driver's licence required, with the ability to travel between properties, suppliers, and appointments as required.
