2IC – Automotive Service Centre

We are looking for a motivated 2IC (Second-in-Charge) to support the Store Manager in the day-to-day running of our busy workshop. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for an experienced Automotive Technician who enjoys working with people and is ready to take the next step in their career.

About the Role

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will:

- Support the daily operation of the workshop.
- Assist with leading and coordinating a team of Technicians.
- Help schedule and allocate work to ensure jobs are completed efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service and communicate clearly with customers about their vehicles.
- Assist with quotes, invoices and general administration.
- Support the Store Manager in achieving workshop targets and maintaining a positive team culture.
- Help resolve customer concerns and assist with day-to-day operational issues.

About You To be successful, you will have:

- A qualified Automotive Technician trade certificate.
- Experience working in a service department.




- Previous experience as a Senior Technician, Leading Hand, Workshop Controller, Service Advisor or similar role is highly regarded.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- The ability to work well in a team and support others.
- A current Australian driver's licence and working rights.
