- Associate - $150k - 170k
- Senior Associate - $180k - 250k

About the firm and the role Naiman Clarke are instructed by a top-tier law firm seeking an experienced Associate or Senior Associate to join its market-leading Corporate/M&A; team in Sydney.

The firm is widely regarded as one of the strongest corporate practices in the market, trusted by top-tier corporate and financial sponsor clients to navigate their most complex and high-value transactions. The Sydney team advises on public and private M&A;, equity capital markets, joint ventures and corporate governance, with the scale, reach and platform to work on matters that are significant, complex and often cross-border in nature.

Working directly with leading corporate partners across a national team, the successful candidate will act on some of the most significant and interesting transactions in the Australian market. You will gain exposure across a broad range of matters – public company M&A;, private capital transactions and equity raisings – and will help advise clients and boards on governance, securities laws and regulatory matters involving FIRB, ASX, ASIC and the Takeovers Panel. Recent work spans high-profile public takeovers, cross-border acquisitions and significant asset and fund manager mergers.

About you

- 3+ years' post-qualification experience (Associate to Senior Associate level) in a leading corporate practice with a national or international firm
- Solid exposure to corporate transactions, including public and private M&A;, equity capital markets and equity raisings, and secondary advisory work
- Australian-qualified with a strong academic record
- Commercially astute, solutions-focused and able to work autonomously within a close-knit, high-performing team
- Strong analytical and communication skills with a genuine client service focus
