About the Role GEM Resourcing is currently seeking an experienced Auto Electrician for a long-term opportunity based in Kwinana Beach.

This is a local Perth role offering consistent hours and varied work across a range of heavy vehicles, trucks, trailers and associated equipment.

Working within a busy workshop environment, you will be responsible for electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, repairs, maintenance and installations.

Key Responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair electrical faults across heavy vehicles and trailers
- Carry out electrical inspections and preventative maintenance
- Repair and replace wiring, harnesses, switches, relays and electrical components
- Work on starting, charging and battery systems
- Diagnose and repair lighting, indicator and trailer electrical systems
- Install electrical accessories and additional equipment
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
- Complete service reports and maintenance documentation
- Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard




- Work independently while supporting the wider workshop team

About You To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Relevant Australian Auto Electrical trade qualification
- Previous post-trade experience as an Auto Electrician
- Experience working on heavy vehicles, trucks or trailers
- Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams
- Experience with 12V and 24V electrical systems
- Current Australian driver’s licence
- Good communication and time-management skills
- A reliable and safety-focused attitude
- Full Australian working rights
