We are currently seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our team at the Baralaba Mine, located 150km west of Rockhampton. We’re looking for committed, reliable and focused people with a solid work ethic, positive attitude and safety-first approach who demonstrate Golding’s culture of care, dignity and respect for their colleagues, equipment and the environment. What you’ll be doing

- Auto-electrical maintenance on heavy mobile equipment
- Diagnosing faults and keeping production gear running
- Workshop and field work as needed
- Completing maintenance paperwork to a high standard
- Taking part in toolbox talks, hazard IDs, risk assessments and safe work reviews

What you need

- Australian-recognised trade qualification
- Experience operating Liebherr Excavators highly desirable
- 5+ years post-trade experience (preferred)
- ARC air-con licence (highly desirable)
- Working at Heights or Confined Space (advantage)
- Driver’s licence & Standard 11
- Able to pass Coal Board & Pre-employment Medical & D&A;
- Experience with Komatsu excavators, dozers or electric dump trucks (highly regarded)
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience with large earthmoving equipment
- Safe, professional and reliable work habits
- Previous experience in a similar role within the mining industry
- Liebherr excavator experience highly regarded
