The RFDS WO provides aeromedical retrieval services and primary health care across the largest health jurisdiction in the world, assisting more than 20,000 patients each year. - Provide technical guidance to Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers and shape fleet-wide reliability outcomes.

- Manage / coordinate the multiple Aviation projects specific to the RFDS WO fleet.

- Build and maintain strategic relationships with key Partners, OEM’s and Suppliers to support the RFDS WO Fleet.

- Full-time position based at Jandakot, with free onsite parking and working from home available.

About the team RFDS WA Engineering keeps a fleet of 17 Pilatus PC-12 (plus the new PC-12 PRO), 3 PC-24 jets and 2 EC145 helicopters flying safely and reliably from our base at Jandakot and regional maintenance sites in Broome, Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie, Meekatharra and soon Geraldton. In this role, you'll work across Engineering, Planning, Flight Operations,



Logistics and Safety, and directly with OEMs and CASA, to keep one of Australia's most demanding aviation operations reliable and compliant.

About the role

- Provide technical engineering support to maintenance, interpreting service bulletins, airworthiness directives, OEM technical data and RFDS WO Engineering projects.

- Manage investigations & corrective actions reporting out to safety, quality and CASA as require d.

- Build and lead the predictive capability for enhanced reliability, defect analysis and recommend maintenance program improvements.

About You

- Degree qualified in Engineering, Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership desired.

- Significant experience in aviation engineering or technical services.

- Experience supporting turbine aircraft operations, ideally including PC-12, PC-24 & EC-145 helicopters.

- Sound working knowledge of CASA Part 145, Part 42 and Part 21.

- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the confidence to guide LAMEs and engage OEMs directly.
