About Us
Nail Topia is a modern and professional nail and beauty salon located in North Perth, Western Australia. We are committed to delivering high-quality nail and beauty services while providing exceptional customer experiences in a welcoming and hygienic environment.
We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Beauty Therapist to join our growing team on a permanent full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities The successful applicant will be responsible for:
Nail & Beauty Services
- Perform professional manicures and pedicures, including nail trimming, shaping, filing, cuticle care, callus removal, exfoliation, and specialized hand and foot treatments.
- Apply, maintain, repair, refill, and safely remove acrylic, gel, shellac, and dip powder nail enhancement systems using professional techniques and equipment.
- Create customized nail art and decorative nail designs based on client preferences, including hand-painted designs, embellishments, and current industry trends.
- Provide relaxing hand, arm, foot, and lower leg massage treatments as part of manicure and pedicure services.
- Consult with clients to recommend suitable nail treatments, colors, styles, and products that meet their individual needs.
Client Care
- Assess the condition of clients' nails and surrounding skin to identify any contraindications or conditions that may affect treatment.
- Provide professional aftercare advice and recommend appropriate homecare and retail products to maintain nail health and treatment results.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships by delivering outstanding customer service and personalized beauty consultations.
Hygiene, Safety & Salon Operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional salon environment at all times.
- Sterilize, disinfect, and maintain all tools, equipment, and workstations in accordance with Australian workplace health and safety and infection control requirements.
- Safely handle, store,
and use beauty products and chemicals, including acrylic systems, gels, acetone, and other salon products, following manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
- Maintain adequate stock levels by monitoring salon supplies and reporting inventory requirements.
- Process client appointments, maintain accurate customer records, and handle point-of-sale (POS) transactions efficiently.
- Work collaboratively with the salon team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while consistently delivering high-quality beauty services.
Selection Criteria
Applicants should possess
- Diploma in Beauty Therapy
- At least one year of relevant full-time (or equivalent part time) experience as a Beauty Therapist (Nail Technician) or in a closely related role.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Willingness to commit to ongoing employment with the business.
What We Offer
- Permanent full-time employment (38 hours per week).
- Annual salary between AUD $75,000 and $85,000, plus superannuation.
