IDL is a family-owned business that provides end-to-end, full-service beverage manufacturing in the Moorabool Valley, just outside Geelong. For over 15 years, we’ve partnered with customers to develop and manufacture beverages for both domestic and export markets.

In 2025, we expanded our operations through significant investment in additional bottling and canning capacity, a brewhouse, and a state-of-the-art distillery. What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a technically skilled beverage professional who thrives on improving products, processes, and people. You’ll be equally comfortable working on the production floor, reviewing quality data, coaching team members, and leading improvement projects.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Lead the technical delivery and quality standards of all beverage products, including wine and other beverage categories
- Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications, food standards, and relevant legislation
- Develop and lead sensory evaluation programs, including staff training and capability development
- Monitor product quality through reporting, data analysis,



and continuous improvement initiatives
- Review production processes to identify opportunities for optimisation, efficiency, and cost improvement
- Troubleshoot technical and process issues and work collaboratively to implement effective solutions
- Lead and support operational improvement and innovation projects from planning through implementation
- Coach, mentor and develop team members to improve performance, capability and technical knowledge
- Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders and contract partners
- Promote and maintain a positive safety culture, ensuring compliance with OHS and company requirements

You’ll Need

- A degree in Viticulture & Oenology, Wine Science, Brewing, or a related discipline
- At least 5 years’ experience in winemaking, brewing, beverage production, or a similar technical manufacturing workplace
- Proven experience leading teams, coaching others, and building capability
- Strong understanding of quality systems, beverage processing and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- A passion for continuous improvement and innovation
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- An acute sense of smell and taste
- A current Victorian Driver’s Licence
