Tambrey Centre is currently looking for reliable and motivated full-time Chefs to join our busy venue and growing team.

Key Duties:

- Prepare meals to order from customers
- Monitoring and upholding orderly and hygienic work practices to ensure a premium food product
- Maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen
- Supervising production of function and catering menus as required
- Monitoring stock rotation when current stock fresh and frozen produce or dry store stock arrives
- Ordering food supplies, monitoring food costs and staff overseeing and training for new dishes.
- Working in conjunction with restaurant management to plan seasonal menus




- Monitoring perishable stock to minimise wastage and prevent contamination
- Maintain food quality and presentation under pressure
- Report promptly maintenance and safety issues and ensure they are corrected
- Monitor portion control and production flow and correct where necessary

Skills and Experience required:

- Relevant qualifications in commercial cookery is highly regarded
- 1 year or more experience working in a commercial venue
- A passion for the Food and Beverage Industry
- The ability to take direction and work as part of a team
- The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
