Company Description Clinical Coordinator (Dental Assistant) 1300SMILES Toowoomba | Casual to Permanent Opportunity Ready to take the next step in your dental career? 1300SMILES Toowoomba is looking for a motivated and experienced Clinical Coordinator to join our friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Dental Assistant who enjoys mentoring others, keeping things organised, and ensuring the clinical team delivers exceptional patient care. We'll start you on a casual basis for a few days each week while you settle into the role, with the opportunity to transition into a permanent full-time position as the role grows.

As our Clinical Coordinator, you'll play an important role in supporting the day-to-day clinical operations of the practice. You'll work closely with the Practice Manager and clinical team to ensure everything runs smoothly while continuing to provide chairside support when needed.

Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating the day-to-day clinical workflow

Supporting and mentoring the Dental Assistant team

Assisting with onboarding and training new team members

Maintaining clinical standards and infection control protocols

Managing stock levels and clinical supplies

Providing chairside dental assisting and clinical support as required

Assisting with dental assisting duties to support the team during busy periods and leave coverage





Working collaboratively with the Practice Manager and clinicians to deliver an outstanding patient experience Qualifications You'll be an experienced Dental Assistant with robust organisational skills and a passion for supporting your team. Ideally, you'll have: Previous experience as a Dental Assistant A Certificate IV in Dental Assisting (desirable), or a willingness to complete one

Excellent communication and leadership skills
