About the role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Clinical Nurse to join a well-established aged care facility in beautiful Port Douglas. Working closely with the Clinical Care Manager, you will play a key role in driving clinical excellence and supporting a high standard of person-centred care.

You will provide leadership, mentorship, and clinical guidance to nursing and care staff, helping to uplift capability and ensure best practice outcomes for residents.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
- Assist in setting and maintaining clinical standards aligned with best practice
- Mentor and guide Registered Nurses and care staff
- Complete AN-ACC documentation and comprehensive assessments




- Lead and support clinical areas including:
- Continence management
- Wound care
- Medication management

- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal resident outcomes
- Delegate tasks and provide clinical oversight to the care team

To be successful you will have

- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- Strong clinical knowledge and advanced nursing skills
- Passion for aged care and improving resident outcomes
- Confident leader with the ability to mentor and support teams
- Positive, proactive and team-focused approach
- Robust communication and organisational skills
- Comfortable using clinical systems and technology

Requirements

- Current AHPRA registration
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current CPR Certificate
- Up-to-date Influenza vaccination and COVID-19 vaccination
- Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and nights
