Join a dynamic and fast-paced inpatient mental health service and make a meaningful difference in the lives of consumers experiencing complex mental health challenges. Working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams across Bankstown and Liverpool Mental Health Units, you will conduct psychological assessments to support diagnostic clarification and formulation of presentations that may include acute suicidality, self-harm, psychosis, drug and alcohol concerns, severe anxiety, depression, and other challenging behaviours. You will have the opportunity to deliver targeted evidence-based psychological interventions through both individual and group programs while being supported by a network of experienced psychologists across SWSLHD, fostering ongoing professional growth and collaboration.

Are You the Right Fit?

We are seeking a motivated Clinical Psychologist who has completed a Master of Clinical Psychology and is endorsed, or eligible for endorsement, as a Clinical Psychologist. You will demonstrate experience delivering evidence-based psychological interventions in both individual and group settings and have a solid understanding of working with consumers experiencing severe mental illness. The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic environment, manage competing priorities and rapid turnaround timeframes, and demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in response to change.

Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and public healthcare settings will be highly regarded,



along with a commitment to providing high-quality, consumer-centred mental health care.

- Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with Endorsement in Clinical or Forensic Psychology (or eligibility to progress to same), along with a minimum two year Full Time equivalent APAC accredited postgraduate Clinical Psychology or Forensic Psychology qualification
- Please describe a client with complex mental health needs that you have assessed and treated.

What assessment tools or approaches did you use, how did you formulate the client's needs, and what evidence-based interventions did you provide? What was the outcome?

- Provide an example of a time when you worked within a multidisciplinary team to improve a client outcome or service delivery. What was your role, how did you communicate with different stakeholders, and what was the result?
