Role Description This is a part-time, remote role for a Cloud Support Engineer.
The Cloud Support
Engineer will provide day-to-day technical support for cloud environments, respond to support tickets, and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, applications, and connectivity.
Responsibilities include monitoring system performance, managing user access, and assisting with routine system administration tasks such as updates, backups, and configuration changes. The role also involves identifying root causes of incidents, documenting solutions, and contributing to knowledge base articles to improve future support.
The Cloud Support
Engineer will collaborate with engineering and security teams to ensure cloud services are secure, secure, and aligned with best practices.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills to diagnose and resolve user and system issues efficiently.
- Candidates should possess System Administration skills for managing cloud instances, user accounts, configurations, and routine maintenance tasks.
- Candidates should possess Networking skills to handle connectivity, routing, and basic network configuration in cloud environments.
- Candidates should possess Network Security skills to support secure configurations, access controls, and compliance with security best practices.
- Familiarity with major cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and basic scripting for automation is beneficial.
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote setting are essential.
- Relevant certifications or coursework in cloud computing, system administration, or information security are a plus.
