Role Description The Community Growth and Partnerships Officer is a part-time, on-site role based in Nerang, QLD. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new community partnerships, strengthening existing relationships, and promoting Liberty Community Connect’s services across the local area. Day-to-day tasks include engaging with community organizations, attending local events, coordinating outreach activities, and representing the organization in a qualified and approachable manner.

The Officer will create and implement community growth initiatives, collaborate with internal teams to align programs with community needs, and prepare reports and updates on partnership outcomes.



The role also involves gathering feedback from partners and participants, supporting communication and marketing efforts, and contributing to a welcoming, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

Experience in community engagement, stakeholder relationship management, or partnership development.

Skills in communication, both written and verbal, including the ability to present information clearly to diverse audiences.

Capability in planning and coordinating events, outreach activities, or community-based programs.

Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, collaborate effectively, and work respectfully with people from diverse backgrounds.

Organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Comfort using basic digital tools (email, online calendars, social media, and standard office software) to support communication and reporting.

Understanding of or interest in community services, aged care, disability support, or social care sectors is highly regarded.

Ability to work on-site in Nerang, QLD, with a proactive, solution-focused approach and a commitment to inclusion and non-discriminatory practices.

Relevant qualifications or training in community services, social work, marketing, or a related field are beneficial but not mandatory.
