An opportunity has become available for a Construction Assistant join our growing team.

About the Role

This role supports our Construction Foreperson and Supervisors in the day-to-day site management of our construction projects. With a strong grounding in basic commercial landscaping skills, this is an prospect for an experienced landscaper to move into safety and site management experience under the guidance of our senior staff.

This position is full time and will be based on various construction sites across the Perth metropolitan area.

Experience and Skills

- Strong safety culture mindset and ability to undertake safety management such as prestarts, inductions and permit approvals




- Reliable, punctual, and willing to go the extra mile when required
- Experience in setout, levels and hard/soft landscaping applications
- An ability to read and interpret drawings and specification
- An understanding of logistics and co-ordination of deliveries
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to problem-solve and coordinate subcontractors
- A willingness and capability to undertake tasks on site including excavator operation and installation of hard landscaping components such as footings or sleeves
- Current manual Drivers Licence and White Construction Awareness Card.
- Preferred tickets include traffic management, excavator, quick cut and small plant/equipment
