This internship provides practical exposure to data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and data visualisation while working on real-world projects in a collaborative remote setting. Role Overview

As a Data Analytics Intern, you will contribute to a variety of data-driven initiatives by collecting, analysing, and interpreting business data to support strategic decision-making. You will work with datasets, create reports and dashboards, identify trends, and assist in delivering actionable insights that help improve business performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect, clean, organise, and validate data from multiple business sources.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Analyse datasets to support operational and strategic business decisions.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and interactive data visualisations using Business Intelligence tools.
- Assist in monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and business performance metrics.
- Write SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data for reporting and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and analytical objectives.
- Maintain the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of data across reports and dashboards.
- Prepare documentation, presentations, and reports to communicate analytical findings effectively.
- Stay updated with emerging analytics technologies, tools, and industry best practices.

Eligibility Criteria





- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Information Technology, Business Analytics, Economics, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Strong interest in data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, and data-driven decision-making.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team environment.

Required Skills

- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
- Basic understanding of SQL and relational database concepts.
- Familiarity with statistical concepts and data analysis methodologies.
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio.
- Basic understanding of Python for data analysis is an advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to learn new analytical tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Preferred Skills

- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas, Lookup Functions, and reporting features.
- Experience writing SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Knowledge of Power BI, Tableau, Looker Studio, or other Business Intelligence platforms.
- Familiarity with Python libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, and Matplotlib.
- Understanding of data cleaning, preparation, and transformation techniques.
- Experience creating dashboards and analytical reports.
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and data modelling concepts.
- Strong data visualisation and storytelling capabilities.
- Excellent analytical thinking and decision-making skills.
